A high school softball and baseball coach once told me his opinion on the difference between coaching boys’ teams and girls’ teams:

“When boys play well, they feel good. When girls feel good, they play well.”

Right now, I feel like I’m on the girls team. It’s just one of those nights when I don’t even want to play the game! Everyone gets a time out, once in a while, right?
